Farewell blender, you were good to us!
My Journey to better health has been a great one! I have learned a lot of great things. I was introduced to green smoothies! YUM!!! There is great health benefits, not just fruit, but adding some greens to your smoothie. Google, health benefits in greens, you will want more greens in your diet, trust me! I find this to be one of the easiest and tasty ways in doing so. Ellie loves loves green smoothies! Scott, not so much.
The other day, sadly, the blender gave out, it didn't want anything but liquid in it. It was trashed, resulting in getting a new one asap. MUST HAVE DAILY GREEN SMOOTHIE! I have been working towards the health master, as stated in previous post. After doing some looking online, this blender has nothing but bad reviews from those that have purchased it and I just don't feel comfortable purchasing it anymore. I have been wanting a vita mix but they cost around $350-400. But with my new reward system I could work towards that, but I need a blender now! I went to Costco to check out there vita mix blenders. They only have them when they are doing a show case on them, so instead I got a magic bullet for $45.99 and in the mean time while I earn more money and wait for Costco to sale them I will enjoy my new blender. And I have!!! It is awesome. Scott has been missing out on my yummy smoothies cause I put greens in them. With the magic bullet I can quickly, and in a clean manner whip up Scott a smoothie and then whip Ellie and I up one! It is wonderful!!!
While I'm on the subject of Costco, I have to add about their membership. You can be gold for $50 or executive for $100. Executive has a bunch of bonuses, one being so much money back for so much money spent at Costco. Our first year we got $85 back, resulting in our next year membership being $15. Our second year we got $201 back. So now our 3rd year will be free with $101 in our pocket :) I used the check to get my blender so it was as if it was free :) Also you don't have to spend the money at Costco or renew your membership, you can just cash the check. We choose to renew because we love shopping at Costco :)

I am so excited that I found Costco in Manhattah. I havent' been yet, but heard that it is pretty awesome. THat is one thing that I missed while being here : costco. And magic bullet looks awesome. My hubby was ALWAYS a fan. His b-day is coming up, I think I'm going to get it for him. He's a smoothie "monster". Seriously.
I think you would love the bullet!!! With two large glasses, and three small glasses you could make everyone a smoothie, just the way they like it, in minutes! Hubby is REALLY supportive with my desire to learn and be more healthy, yet, greens in his smoothie isn't flying with him quite yet so he loves the bullet even more because I am more willing to whip him up a smoothie while I am doing mine :) He could even make it him self it is that simple and fast!
