Our first house

We still have 3 weeks to closing so something could happen and we don't get it, but it is looking hopeful.

It has been a roller coaster ride that's for sure!! This is our first time buying so we are new at this and we may have rushed it to quickly that I questioned if we made the right choice, but I feel calm about our choice so I am going to stick with it. Sure we only took 3 days, and looked at 13 homes to make this choice, but I like it and I can see our family happy in this home. And not only that, as I continue to question our choice, or more so our choice to move so quickly, I fall more and more in love with THIS home, so in the end, I am happy with our choice, no matter how quickly it was made, and at times seems like we settled with the best one of the 13. Will I do things differently next time, yes! Will I look at more than 13 homes, yes! Will I make sure I am truly in love with the house from the moment I see it, yes! Do I regret having to even ask my self these question, nope, not anymore, I am happy with our choice :)

Here is photos of the home that the current home owners took. As soon as we are settled in I will post photos of when it is OUR place.

Not pictured is the other side of the yard that has 3 garden boxes already made and ready to go
for me to have a garden next year, yipee! and some kind of fruit tree :)

Wow it's gorgeous!! Did you do all the painting yourself? We are in the process of buying our first home, but it's a fixer-upper. So we still have our work cut out for us. YOur home looks beautiful!

Lucky for us, they did all the painting, and not to long ago I don't think. I love the colors. I did paint Ellie's room, I want her to feel like its her girly room, not future brother(s) room, that is if I have any boys, lol.

As soon as we get moved in, I'll take photos, the photos I posted are the one's the seller took to post their home online :)
