6 month check up

Ellie was hungry! We were waiting for her to be seen at her doctor appointment. Daddy came for the first time, yipee. Right as the bottle was made, and put in her mouth, they called for us. Boo! At least for her, I was ready to get in and out :) Scott had to hold the bottle while I striped her down to diaper to be measured, it was funny. She weighs 15 lbs 10 oz and is 25 inches. In one month she grew 9 oz and 3 inches. No wonder she had been a little fussy this past month. Growing is never fun. She was happy to be able to eat her bottle after that was done, but she wasn't to happy to get shots. They always give the needle shot and then the oral shot. She loves the oral shot, she sucks it all down. I wish they always had a oral shot with every needle shot, by the time she is done with the oral shot, she forgets she was even pricked in the leg. Gotta love shots, not! Online charts put her in the 10-25 percentile for weight and height. Although that doesn't mean anything. Doctor said she is doing great! Its time for food everyday at lunch time :) Then by her next visit, 9 months, she'll move to lunch and dinner :) I'm sure she will be happy for that, she loves sitting in her chair and being feed, as long as you keep it coming :)
