Yipee, we're home :)

It's nice being home :) Utah is where we belong :) But boy do we, will we, miss our Vegas friends, both Scott and I, wait, all three of us, Scott, Ellie and I made great friends while in Vegas! The Lord for sure was watching out for us and Vegas was for sure part of our life journey.
Graduation was wonderful! Short but sweet! Thank goodness it was just the law students :) Here is a few photos. Sadly we didn't get any great photos that day....

We were in our seats about 10 minutes before starting, Ellie was up and down the isle jumping from one family member to the next, lucky for us, right as it was starting she, of her own free will, gladly laid her head down and took a nap, the ENTIRE time!!! Oh how grateful I am! She is a wiggler and had she been awake she would of mostly likely had to have been taken out.

Random snap shot of what the stage looked like. Sadly right as I went to go snap Scott's picture as he walked across the stage, I discovered, the VIDEO was on, not the still camera. sigh....Good thing other family was there and took pictures, now to get photos from them.....

One of the two student speakers at the graduation. He is a funny guy! Gave a great speech! Scott was nominated but not chosen. He gladly would have, but relieved it didn't have to. It would have been GREAT to hear him speak, but Steve was a great pick!

Um, yes, we need a recent family photo! I was hoping for this day since we were all dressed up and in red, but Ellie does not like posing/smiling for the camera.

Since we've been back, Ellie has played at the park a few times, slept with her grandparents, played with cousins. Has plenty of fun toys including a kid slide that she loves going outside to. But most importantly, no matter what state we are in, she LOVES to drive the car!!!
The latest on me, Still working on saving my gall bladder, and working on my health and weight until another little Wiser's time to join us.
Scott, he starts bar bri tomorrow, a class that helps prep you for the bar exam, which he will be taking in July. He also is passing a kidney stone on his left side, and has one in his right side, 9mm, so there is no passing that one, so if you can spare an extra prayer, pray that it doesn't move for awhile until we can afford surgery, and pray that my gall bladder may be healed and all will be well for me and, fingers crossed for soon, a future wiser. Can you tell I am ready to be pregnant already! lol

Bountiful Baskets

http://www.bountifulbaskets.org/

I have had many, MANY, people around me talking about this program, but why didn't I try it sooner? Cause I'm silly like that! But wowzers! I"m going to keep up with it!

Bountiful Baskets is a co-op group. You log on, on your assigned day, order your basket for $15, $25 for organic, and then pick it up on Saturday. There is always 6 fruit items, 6 vegetable items, but you never know what you are going to get. Sometimes they have extra stuff to purchase when available like bread, bulk produce, and what not, the what not being I really don't know a whole lot, this was my first time. lol.

When I ordered, the website said 7:30 pick up, my confirmation email said 7:00, so to be better safe then sorry(they won't wait for you or deliver, you don't show it is donated to the local fire station) I arrived early to either volunteer and help get the baskets ready for pick up, or get there just in time to pick it up. I was early. Which I'm glad I was. I enjoyed volunteering. I even got extra produce for doing so.

So, when you order your first basket there is a $3 extra fee. I ordered 3 baskets for the first time so for $55, I got:

22 bananas
3 heads of romaine
36 Brussels sprouts
28 limes
22 tomatoes
27 peaches
12 butternut squash
3- 3 lb bags of apples
5 bags of mini carrots
2 mini seedless watermelon
17 mangoes
22 ears of corn

This week is going to be a good eating week :) Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeee :)

Katie's 30 day detox, DONE!!!

Well, Okay I only did 28 days, and I THINK I cheated 5 days. I wish I could say I did it 100% all 30 days, but it was way to hard! I think a few years down the rode after another baby and I have a better mind set and will power I can do it! 100% 30 days! Will see. I for sure don't want to do it again anytime soon, but I still would recommend it to others if they think they could do it. I do plan on doing this exact detox once a week, will see how well I succeed at that, but I think it is do able. thesmile I am grateful I did it! I learned how much I can trust and rely on the lord, and how much will power I have, learned about me, and got a new me out of it!

Lots of photos

With my year mark for weight loss, I was going to get a new outfit and take photos. The new outfit didn't happen, but the photos did. lol :)

HaHaHa, look what I discovered. I did NOT do this on purpose. But I am wearing the same shirt, same place In these next two photos. 2.5 years apart, and 40 lbs difference

1 year

Well it's been one full year since I took a photo of my self. I took the photo for the purpose of showing my friend, that I thought was pregnant but was not, that I too look pregnant. Then looking at the photo, I realized, what in the world have I done to my self? How did I let it get this far? I had to do something about it and one year later here I am, doing something about it! Felling great, happy, and free from food!
