Halloween weekend

Friday October 30th was Nevada day, no school! So, we flew home for the weekend. Technically it was Ellie's 2nd Halloween, but she was only 2 months last year, so this year she got to dress up and go trick or treating.

Friday, daddy went to work and we got to play with Calli and Autumn. To bad I haven't figured out video's yet, cause we got a cute one of the two of them playing together. They enjoy being cousins!

Saturday we went to snow bird to enjoy the snow. She got to try sledding for the first time. I think she was okay on the way down, but when the sled stopped she wasn't to happy. I like to think it was from snow getting in her shoes and pants and it was a new experience, but what do I know, she can't talk yet :)
We also got to ride the tram up to the top of the mountain, she really liked that.

Saturday was trick or treat :) We went to my parents house, my mom got a picture, I did not :( So hopefully when she sends them to me(wink wink mom) I can post them. We had a lot of fun. Went to a few houses I knew from childhood. Then we stopped at my best friends mom's house, and she happened to be there so that was a nice treat.
Until I get photos of Halloween day, here are photos of when we got her costume in Sept.

Sunday we flew out late, so we were able to spend sometime with my family. Ellie was watching the boys outside shooting the bi-bi gun. The door got opened and she tried to go out, tripping over the step and fell on her face. She ended up with a sore on her lip just like her mommy. But her's is just fine and healed great. Mine blew up like a balloon and looks like a big cold sore!  How did I get hurt? I was on the treadmill, feeling great! Closed my eyes, oh wait, duh, I need to hold on if I want to close my eyes, opened them to grab the handles and I was already off balance and biffed it! Rolled off like a piece of meat on a grocery converter belt.

What weeds!

Okay, I know I need to post photos of Ellie, I will! But I just sent these photos to Scott for our leasing office, so it is fresh on my mind.

We really hope to afford a place of our own when we move back to Utah, so there have been a few things rolling through my head of do's and dont's when looking.

#1- Check if it is a HOA neighborhood or not!
I am so done with HOA! They are natzi's! Or at least in the neighborhood we are currently living in. We have gotten written up twice for "weeds" that don't exist! So I took photo's for the leasing office to see. Maybe they got the wrong house, okay. But hello, they've written us before for weeds, that granted did exist, but were new and not many, and houses around us were worse! They wrote us up for having garbage strewed across the yard. Um ya, that cigarette box,  beer bottle, Slurpee cup and milk jug were mine, rightttt. Our garbage is old school here, we have our own cans we purchase at the nearest home depot then the garbage man dump it in the truck with no care if any goes flying around or if your can lands up, down, sideways or in the street.

If only weeds really looked like this. We wouldn't have to ever weed again!
