Learning Law

What happens when daddy leaves his law books on the ground? Well of course Ellie wants to be like daddy, so she reads them ;)

Rock and Roll

She discovered how to push her self up on her knees and hands, and rock, but still yet to crawl. She tries, but ends up falling down to her tummy and scooting backwards. She is almost there! But it is fun to see her rock in crawling position, she even tries to stand up on her two feet, silly girl :)

She wants to move so bad! She gets real frustrated when she wants something but can't get to it, so she just cries, and gives you such a sad face, in hopes that you will help her out, or pick her up and play with her. There are a lot of video's and a lot of the same thing, I was just hoping to capture her moving, but she won't do it. I even tried hiding while videoing, but she would see me, and start crying for me all over again. Silly girl! She did get very close today, she rocked on her knees and hands, while crying to be held :)

I say "standing" cause, obviously, she isn't standing yet. She will if she has something to lean back on, she also will stand in front of the couch holding on, but not for very long :) I wouldn't be surprised if she skips crawling and goes straight to walking This one is just for fun, cause it was the same day, and it is so dang cute! She loves daddy's whiskers

Eating out with Friends

Our friend Amanda was really sweet and took us all out to eat! Ellie loves mashed potatoes, and lookin' like daddy after eating them :) She wanted the A1 sauce, what a smart girl, yum yum Cute Catherine, hanging out at the other end of the table. She wanted to see Ellie, it was cute! They are best friends Way cool kid dessert! Look at that awesome plate! It had chocolate, strawberry, and caramel syrup for them to decorate and paint their rice crispy, I so need these plates! All of us :) Ellie's typical way of eating out! Play with menu or what ever paper she can get her hands on. In and out of her seat! Reach for everything and anything on the table!

BLESSED!!!!

We are so in need of a new mattress! We really want a King size, but then we would have to replace the bed. We decided that we would just get the mattress for now, and wait till we move back to Utah, and have the money, to buy the bed frame. Then our dream, of not only a king size bed, but a new mattress, went down the drain when Scott's car had to go into the shop, totalling $1500.18 in repairs. A few days later, after finding out about the car, and no new bed, out of the blue, a client/friend of my FIL, called wanting to give him a gift card to a furniture warehouse! My kind in laws passed the gift card to us and let us get a new bedroom set, with mattress and its king size!!!! So come mid May we will have a whole new bedroom set! I can't say thank you enough, nor show my appreciation on how much we feel blessed and over joyed! We plan to use the cute bedding you got us mom for Christmas a few years back :) I'll take photos once the furniture is in place and the bed has been made. I am so exited! It will be so nice to sleep on a new mattress!!

Cell Phone

My phone had to much stored on it so I had to do some deleting. Had to send the photos somewhere. This is Ellie in the womb. If you look close, you will see her little hand signing Mom in ASL. Mommy's girl, from the womb :) This was on my birthday :) As we were driving I noticed her hand, I did not position them. I just had to take a photo. We sent it to daddy, saying, I love you!! Our cute little lady who loves to put everything in her mouth, especially her clothes! No we did NOT see this creepy, yucky looking movie! Just took a photo op. She loves her daddy!! Showing off her new bows. I can't stop making them!

Utah- Easter 2009

Aunt Tiffany, and cousins came by to give me a crib. I had fun playing with them. Thanks for the crib Alta, I LOVE it! :) Spending time with my best friend, my cousin. Grandmama and Paapa got me a walker so I have something to play in, and encourage me to move around. I sure loved the walker! It was a lot of fun to move around and not get frustrated that I can't move. Umm, lets see, where should I visit first? Oh wait, mom! you still need to get us a pass port!! Having fun at Grams and papa Lynn's on Easter. Yipee, I got to find a egg too! These are mommies friend who live in her computer, it sure was fun to meet them! I had lots of fun visiting family, sure can't wait to do it again. And maybe next time my mommy won't be lazy and take more pictures of me haivng fun.

Getting ready for Utah

She loves bath time! Now that she can sit up on her own, she loves splashing and playing with toys. Luckily it is a very small splash, hopefully it stays that way! She actually likes being tilt back for rinsing her hair, and she loves a little water to lay in and kick. Sure hope that sticks with her too! So much easier to lay them back and rinse their hair, then dump cup loads of water over their head and watch them squirm as it gets in their face.

I love Cub Scouts

Scott and I are the only leaders at the moment with our one cub, so Ellie joins us every week and loves it! For Scouts, I had planned for him to build a car out of a box and paper, he changed it to a fighter airplane, boys! Ellie had a great time. Our cub wanted us to pick her up and make her fly, but we weren't to sure of the box, so instead she just sat in the box and watch daddy and B. shoot at each other as if they were the fighter planes.

I'm the boss

She likes to think she is the boss, and that she has to be noticed at all times! She loves being held or played with, we are trying to get her to play on her own, but she won't have it. She wants to move around like all the other kids she see's, but gets so frustrated, instead of trying she will cry and move around in circles on her belly. Silly girl. She'll get there :)

I love trying new things

She now likes more then just the bottle, and silly ol' jar food, she want's to try everything in her reach, if you are eating, then she wants to too. She likes trying Cheerios for the first time, she couldn't figure out how to put them in her mouth, but she has the hang of it now. A law school buddie of Scott's made us cookies, after helping her move. Ellie enjoyed them, although she is distracted by her daddy in the back ground in this video.

It's be awhile, were still tickin'

Wowzers! It has been way to long since I last post! I need to get the camera out and do some posting. We are all doing well. Ellie wants to move around so much, but won't do it on her own, she has learned to scream to get attention, so as, that you can move her around or play with her. Miss Lazy! Hopefully we get her going on her own, that way she will be more happy playing on her own! We had a great time in Utah last week, thus resulting in my slacking of posting, but I will get on top of it! Just 3 weeks and 3 days, till we get to come to Utah for 3 months, yipee!!! Okay, off to get the last few weeks posted......
